Tiger Out For The Year

upon hearing that he was one and done.Whitson: According to his web site, Tiger will have season ending knee surgery. He will have his left ACL reconstructed. He also played the US Open with a double stress fracture in his left tibia. Does this add to the legend that is Tiger?

Woodall: To me, this goes down as one of the greatest performances ever, right next to the bloody sock of Curt Schilling and the broken foot of Kerri Strug. Amazing.

Tiger Talk

Hutch: I’m not a golf fan, but was completely enthralled by the US Open this weekend. Tiger has really become legendary after yesterday, if he isn’t already.

Woodall: I’m pretty sure he is already a legend, and yesterday just added to how his story is told in the future. I am wondering if he hasn’t messed himself up in the long term though. From what is being said, he played the US Open completely against doctor’s orders, and it was obvious that some shots were giving him a fair amount of pain.
